Ken MacIntyre – Director, Publicity & Promotions

Ken brings a broad range of knowledge and unique skills from his sixteen years of public relations experience to C&C Communications. The big picture is in the details and Ken is hands on when it comes to ensuring results.

Ken’s outstanding PR work has run the gamut from supporting and executing major movie studio campaigns at the Toronto and Vancouver International Film Festivals; producing PA tours for top talent including celebrity chefs and Oscar® winning filmmakers; and helping artists and musicians establish themselves in the marketplace through grass roots word of mouth. When it comes to client accessibility and communication, Ken’s reputation for going above and beyond is second to none.

Prior to joining C&C Communications, Ken was active in B.C.’s film industry and worked as a freelance writer contributing to many of Vancouver’s arts & entertainment publications, giving him a unique perspective on media from the inside out. In 1996 he authored the acclaimed book Reel Vancouver: An Insider’s Guide, published by Whitecap Books, and appeared as an industry expert on many of the region’s major broadcast outlets. Ken majored in Fine Arts at Langara College, studied film at the University of British Columbia and holds an Entertainment Business Certificate from the Institute of Communication Arts.

Ryan Lim – PR Specialist

Ryan began his journey into the world of PR eight years ago when he earned a Public Relations Associate Certificate from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Since then he’s been busy establishing himself as an indispensable part of the marketing teams for leading companies such as IKEA Canada, Rogers Communications and Morguard Investments.

Prior to joining C&C Communications, Ryan was already immersed in the world of film having worked at the Vancouver Film School and Rogers Video. He was also actively involved in the city’s arts & entertainment scene having volunteered at events such as the Vancouver International Film Festival and the Vancouver International Comedy Festival. Ryan holds a BA in English Literature and Film & Television Studies from the University of British Columbia.
