Pancake Manor – YouTube Channel

C&C Communications spearheaded an intensive PR campaign to promote the online children’s music video channel, Pancake Manor. The goal; to raise their national profile and increase page views while connecting with families on a grass roots level. In the burgeoning digital age of children’s edutainment programming Pancake Manor had been a YouTube fan favorite for nearly two years and C&C Communications was proud to help grow their brand and bring them much deserved mainstream recognition.

Highlights from our carefully tailored campaign included interview features with creators Billy Reid & Reb Stevenson in major daily newspapers such as the Vancouver Sun, The Province, Calgary Herald, Edmonton Journal, Victoria Times Colonist, and respected national magazines such as Parents Canada and Reel West. Broadcast coverage saw interviews on CTV News, CTV Morning Live, SHAW TV’s The Rush and Novus Television’s City Lights. Additionally, online coverage featured a majority of Postmedia daily newspaper sites across the country including the Montreal Gazette, Regina Leader Post and online hub, while national entertainment websites such as Kids Tribute,, and promoted Pancake Manor’s new DVD release.

By generating awareness through high profile mainstream media outlets such as these, a nearly 50% increase in page views and a significant boost to Pancake Manor’s online advertising revenue resulted during the course of C&C Communications’ initial PR campaign.
